Podcast: city logistics beyond zero-emission – trends towards 2035

The Dutch “Outlook City Logistics 2035” analyzes future challenges and opportunities for urban logistics in the Netherlands, focusing on zero-impact logistics beyond emission-free vehicles. Various regulatory instruments for municipalities are explored and discussed, and an action perspective with concrete solutions for specific segments and neighborhoods is outlined. The study emphasizes the importance of collaboration and integrated planning to ensure the livability of cities with a well-functioning city logistics system.

The researchers conclude that transitioning to a new city logistics ecosystem for attractive cities must occur in the coming years and that inaction is not an option.
